People are intrigued with knowing more about confidence – a trait many of us seem to lack. The story of David and Goliath explains it well. Confidence is simply understanding what your strengths are. Humility is just the opposite. It is understanding what your weaknesses are. David was confident in his ability to fight, since he had used this in defending the sheep he tended. He also was aware of his weakness, which was his size against Goliath. Goliath possessed ego. He felt he was invincible and almost thought of himself as god-like. A trait that has no positive outcome.
