According to a recent study published in Cell Metabolism, eating white bread verses whole wheat bread has no difference in effect on total health. This is likely because of the individual study participant’s reaction to eating bread along with their glycemic index totals. Some people reacted better to white bread others reacted better to wheat bread. There is still more research on this topic needed it to be done.
